OVKA Members and Guest Racers,
We’re excited about the upcoming race events (Sept 11/12). To give our drivers, the most off-time between Saturday and Sun, I am going to start Saturday’s event an hour earlier and push Sunday back an hour. I have spoken with our Tower Coordinator and Race Director. We all feel that we can do this and still wrap up at a reasonable time both days. Sunday we will be running a single round of warm-ups, which allows us to start racing 30 minutes later than our normal start time.
The modified schedule is below.

For the next two upcoming OVKA Races (August 7 and August 14), the 50/50 drawing proceeds that go to OVKA will be donated to help Adkin's Speedway acquire the section of land that the Monza sits on.

OVKA is looking for volunteers to help with the events over the Champ Race weekend. If someone would like to volunteer they could send an email to any board member or email Dawn Schroeder at ovkachamprace@gmail.com or Click Here to fill out an online form to volunteer.
OVKA Racers,
Based on the extremely poor forecast on all the major weather sites for tomorrow I have decided to cancel the race. This will move race number seven to our second weather day.
These are not easy decisions, especially once it’s made and things change, but we are trying to serve our racers the best we can. If you have questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me.
Many racers I spoke to today expressed the strong desire to run the 2a-reverse track this season. It is 100% my intent that we make that happen. I will be working with the board and Race officials to figure out the best way to do that, and will keep everyone informed.
